Michael Hill vereint ein starkes akademisches Fundament und einen ausgeprägten unternehmerischen Sinn. Bereits während seinem seinem Master an der Universität Zürich in Biologie und Theoretischer Physik hat er sein erstes Unternehmen gegründet und während fünf Jahren geführt.
Danach zog es ihn für sein Doktoratsstudium in Pharmakologie an die Universität Oxford und als Research Fellow an die UCLA. Aktuell steuert Michael Hill die strategische Ausrichtung und Innovation des SNF.
Als Guido Rudolphi 1975 das erste Mal an einem Univac tüfteln durfte hat ihn die Begeisterung für Computer gepackt. Bereits als Teenager testete er die Sicherheitssysteme von Unternehmen und öffentlichen Anstalten, entwarf Sicherheitskonzepte für sie und entwickelte sich über die Jahre zu einem der führenden Cybersecurity Experten.
Seit 2011 ist er ein Bitcoin-Enthusiast und in diversen Projekten involviert.

We are thrilled and proud to announce a further extention of our Advisory Board. Dr. Michael Hill, Deputy Head of Strategy at the «Swiss National Science Foundation» (SFN), and Guido Rudolphi, expert for cyber security will now share their profound expertise with us and offer their thoughtful advice.
Michael Hill combines a strong academic foundation and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Already as a graduate student in Biology and Theoretical Physics at the University of Zurich he founded his first entreprise, which he led for five years. Thereafter, he went for a doctorate in Pharmacology at the University of Oxford and later worked as a Research Fellow at the University of California, Los Angeles. Currently, Michael Hill steers the strategic orientation and innovation of the SNF.
When Guido Rudolphi in 1975 tinkered on a Univac for the first time, he was gripped by his excitement for computers. Already as a Teenager he tested security systems of private and public enterprises, elaborated security concepts for them, and could over the years make a name for himself as a leading security expert.
Since 2011 he is a Bitcoin-Enthusiast and is involved in various projects.
